INDUSTRY SUMMIT IN TURKEY “TATEF 2009”
TATEF 2009 - 12th International Metalworking Technologies Exhibition will be
held in Istanbul CNR EXPO. More than 750
of the world’s leading firms will participate in TATEF 2009 which is the
sector’s largest exhibition in Turkey and world's third biggest industrial
exhibition.
12th International Metal Processing Technologies Exhibition TATEF 2009 which is
scheduled to be held at Istanbul CNR EXPO, between. The exhibition will be organized by ITF – Istanbul Trade Fairs with the
support of Association of the Machine Manufacturers (MIB) and Machine Tools
Businessmen Association (TIAD). TATEF,
as the sector’s largest exhibition in Turkey and one of the most prominent
industrial exhibition of the world, will take the pulse of new investments and
economic growth in 2009.
TATEF, as the impetus of the sector by ensuring a steadily more encompassing and
concentrated participation with each passing year, was held in 8 halls of
Istanbul CNR EXPO in 2006. However, TATEF 2009 will take place in 10
interconnected halls on 150,000sqm exhibition areas deducted to show casing a
full spectrum of metal processing technologies.
103 foreign establishments, which gained acceptance as a major brand names,
their Turkish representatives and leading manufacturing firms in sheet metal
processing machinery participated in TATEF 2006 and featured a full spectrum of
high-tech metal processing technology. However, Germany, Spain, Taiwan were
joined as national participation while some Italian firms participated in
exhibition as a groups. The fact that the machine tools industry showed up such
a great upturn in 2005 and the increase in import and export volume of Turkey
are presented as proof of this great interest. Experienced steadily growing
interest provided substantial contributions to improve business relationship.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN in TATEF 2009?
TATEF 2009 will be The Industry Summit of Turkey. Visitors and exhibitors will
be able to check out the sector’s latest developments and products in TATEF
2009, which machine tools, cad/cam systems, software metal cutting machines,
industrial safety systems, hand power tools, metal forming machines,
manufacturing and process automation, measuring and testing systems, sheet metal
and wire working machines, welding, cutting, hardening, heating equipment,
mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic accessories for metalworking
will be featured.
Over 750 exhibitors will exhibit the brand new technological products of the
industry and approximately 70.000 visitors are expected to visit TATEF 2009. It
